Scythes do not calculate y-motion (vertical movement speed) for damage any longer
Scythes now place more emphasis on horizontal movement (6 -> 12)
Formula has changed: (baseDamage x cooldown%)+((horizontalSpeed x 6) + (verticalSpeed x 14) x 10) -> (baseDamage x cooldown%)+((horizontalSpeed x 12) x 10)

Our largest, most ambitious update yet (206 days in the making!), Wyrms of Nyrus: Genesis overhauls the visuals to become compatible with as many shader mods as possible, along with improvements to the evolution system, many requested bug fixes, optimizations, new content, and a few notable mob overhauls.
Removed Geckolib requirement, requires SynapseLib 3.0 or above
Fully compatible with Optifine and Iris forks at last! Play with or without shaders, the wyrms glow and move as intended.
Screenshake, which can be disabled in the in-game client options.
With Arcade as the new default preset, players are first met with a fast-paced experience, where wyrms have lowered health but raised damage. Players can switch the preset to ID 1 to play Classic once more, and Dark Forest is untouched and as difficult as ever.
A new stealth mechanic allows players to carefully sneak around the Nyral Wyrms and their Creeped minions.
A touch of variety has been added to many wyrms, further diversifying their ranks.
Over time, wyrms will mutate, and it is entirely possible to push a variant to evolve more than the others if you're not careful!
Two new tools that double as weapons, to make use of the Hivesteel you've acquired.

Welcome to the Hostile Skies update!
This update features new a flying wyrm: The Warrior. Fully capable of dodging player movements and projectiles, the Warrior presents a new threat for those living in the skies, and they are known to come down onto land to terrorize the local fauna and mobs as well. Along with Warriors, Probers have been completed reworked and are unique with how they progress the invasion. Thankfully, it is now easier to identify probers with a new accessibility change: Probers now have unique idle sounds and subtitles (available in Vanilla Minecraft's settings)
Along with this update is a full-blown configuration file change. You will need to re-do your files to carry your edits over, but the new system is more organized and is part of SynapseLib itself. No config reset needed, the files are now located in /config/WyrmsOfNyrus/
I want to thank everyone for following and supporting the mod ever since it's first conception 6 months ago. So much has changed and improved, and with the foundations laid down in front of us, we'll be seeing a faster update schedule.
