1.16.5-1.2.0: "Configure This" Update!
Featuring a lot of tweaks and fixes that maybe sorta kinda warranted the version number uptick, though still very few new items.
Removals:
- Maple bacon fudge and adzuki paste have fulfilled their limited purposes. We wish them a welcome retirement!
- The recipe for yucca juice has been removed, as yucca juice no longer exists.
Additions:
- Guardian Puffcakes (because I'm not brave enough to use the word "soufflés") grant intense Mining Fatigue in a radius when being cooked. Prime trap material...
- Upon consumption while standing in water, they'll restore health equal to the number of negative effects the user is experiencing. (Very specific, I know, it's helpful in monuments but I'll need to find a better use case)
Configuration:
The addition of a config means you can mix and match a few properties of the mod!
- You can now determine which effects the seasonal agars can extend--it doesn't just have to be four different effects, either.
- Dimensions in which mooncakes will have an adverse effect can now be configured.
- The status effect radius of an active, uninhibited copper pot can now be configured.
Fume Inhibition Blocktags:
- There are two temporary tags in place, before I devise a system that makes slightly more sense. Feel free to add your own!
fume_inhibitors (coral, wet sponges) placed nearby will cause an active copper pot to only inflict entities standing directly over it.
partial_fume_inhibitors (coal blocks, dried kelp blocks, nylium) will limit the radius of effect to one block around the pot, as well as the two-block column above.
Tweaks:
- Various bugfixes. Thanks to those who sussed 'em out!
- Added tooltips (likely configurable in the future) to the more obtuse foods. I.e. almost all of 'em.
- Royal jelly now converts any levels of Poison to Regen I, every time. (I think.)
- Tomato sauce is slightly less fatal to cook.
- JEI now has a tiny little tooltip that reflects the status effect inflicted in a radius while cooking that recipe. Look at it go!

- meringue rebalances--apparently tropical meringues and carrot cupcakes were just the slightest bit dysfunctional

1.16.5-1.1.0: "First is Worst" Update!
Copper Pot Changes:
- The copper pot can now only cook a maximum of 16 foods, thanks to its general lack of depth. To compensate, it can now keep its inventory once broken.
- The copper pot is responsive to redstone signals! Upon receiving a signal of any strength, it'll stop cooking. Using redstone clocks now lets players essentially create infinitely lingering effects.
- To compensate, I've slightly shrunk the radius of effect, from 4x3x4 to 3x2x3. Curious to see if people are able to take advantage of this!
- That said, I may be failing to see where this can still be seen as overpowered. The effects themselves usually aren't the most beneficial to the player, so let me know if anything
seems terribly unbalanced! I am but a Luddite
- JEI now depicts whether or not a recipe will cause the copper pot to leach. Figuring out which effects occur is still up to player discovery, however!
- The copper pot GUI now has a nice little bubbling animation when a leaching recipe is cooking.
Additional Recipes:
- Added sourdough bread and fizzy yogurt as compat with Savage and Ravage! (To the S&R team I am, so sorry. To SirBaconFace circa January, uh, you're welcome (??))
- Try out the foods with active potion effects to see what ensues!
- Added royal jelly as compat with Buzzier Bees!
- For when having an antidote for Poison isn't enough. Stimulates bees (to say the least).
- Added mooncakes as additional compat with Neapolitan/Bayou Blues!
- May the night bring you peace.
- Added tropical meringues as compat with Atmospheric/Neapolitan!
- Added carrot cupcakes! I hope to get them retextured as soon as possible ;)
Small Mechanic Note:
- Meringue-based recipes (excluding baked alaskas) are somewhat focused on intensifying effects, though some may also extend them. Use that knowledge however you will!
