Should be compatible with 1.7.10 too, though I haven't tested it.

Added the research config option that's in 0.13.2 to the 1.7 version.

Fixed a bug where the config file wouldn't generate.

- Added a config option for the research hidden-ness.

Backport to 1.6.4 because people wanted it.
